HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid (includes CPR).

This  is a blended courses with 2 components

* Online - up to 4 hours, depending on how familiar you are with the content

* Face to face practical 5 hours

The course will benefit those workers who may be required to provide, coordinate, and manage first aid responses across a wide range of complex situations, including both workplace and community settings.

As well as covering the topics found in the standard  First Aid and CPR courses, this course provides the specific and in-depth training required for more advanced conditions, such as:

• Managing multiple casualties
• Moving or extricating casualties,
• Treating potentially fatal illnesses
• Treating high risk injuries
• Use of Tourniquets and Haemostatic Dressings for Life-Threatening Bleeding
• Managing a Casualty Suffering Shock
